fashion vs beauty

Hey hutters!

I would like to introduce you to the world that I am into right now in make up industry which is fashion and beauty. These are two aspects of the industry that I am working on right now and I should say it’s pretty interesting.

Part 1: Beauty

Natural beauty is definitely big assets. Flawless skin is the number one priority for a good make up definitions and therefore a good skin care is a must for everyone.

For those who hate spending their time doing make up but always want to look good, you will like this following look.

This is an effortlessly natural look by me. This may look easy to do but it may be a problem for some newbies.

The key is too create a flawless skin and countouring. Priming the skin with mosturizer or skin primer for those who have dry skin is necessary. For applying foundation, use sponge after applying it with brush, it will give smooth flawless look that you want.

Eye shadow colour will just plain matte dark brown with the usual highlighting on the brow bone. Put black mascara and fine liner. I won’t use cat liner look and just the normal upperline. As the bottomline of the eye, I just use brown eyeshadow and apply it with fine brush to create a natural bottomline.

The lip color is nude and I suggest you put a nude lip liner before applying the lipstick. It will give you more definition as well as a perfect shape of lip. Avoid using this color if you have really dry lips as it will totaly ruin the look.

part2: Fashion

the 2 of the shoots shown on the right are those which I work on during Pocketto Magz shoot. This is the first time I did such a fashion look and I think I did OK but not perfect. Well, I guess practice always makes perfect.

Fos fashion looks, I always think it will be much easier than beuty make up as they are not necessary as neat as the beauty ones. Imagine this: the beauty look always show even your tiny little mistake such as eye liner or brow shape. But with the fashion look, creativity is number 1.

However, as far as I become a make up artist, neatness is already a part of me. I will be very upset even with a tiny untidiness on the look. So, I guess fashion look s are not easy at all. We have to combine both of creativity and neatness.

Anyway, please do enjoy the pictures and feel free to make any comments!

Love,

Helen
